ANGELS IN AMERICA First Edition SIGNED by ENTIRE ORIGINAL BROADWAY CAST RARE

  

During my theater "phase" I would wait outside the stage doors of each Broadway season's most popular shows. Angel's in America was a personal favorite thus I picked up this First Edition (third printing) soft cover book of Angel's In America "Millennium Approaches" in the theater district and waited for autographs on a hot summer day.

The first one to arrive was the show's original star Ron Liebman who played Roy Cohn. He personalized the cover page writing "To Frank, it's about singing cats" which was one of his terrific lines from the show.

Kathleen Chalfant arrived next signing the next autograph shown on picture #3. Chalfant on the quality of her signature and she told me that her dad told her that she should have an impressive signature which she certainly had! Jeffrey Wright arrived next and signed directly under Ms.

On the next page, the actors took great care to sign one beneath the next. The first signature is of now Academy Award Winner Marsha Gay Harden who played the original Harper Pitt. Stephen Spinella who played Prior Walter arrived next riding his bike to the theater like a true New Yorker. The next signors were Joe Mantello who played Louis Ironson, David Marshall Grant who played Joe Pitt and then Ellen McLauphlin who played the glorious Angel signed the book last.
