UGO CIPRIANI 1930'S LG. BRONZE MAN THE CASTAWAY ORIGINAL CASTING FRANCE DECO ERA.
This is a original bronze casting of a semi nude man who appears to be looking out to sea in hopes of a rescue by the well listed Italian artist Ugo Cipriani 1897/1960. He moved to Paris in the early thirties to escape fascism. This large scale sculpture is 29 inches long 20 inches tall and 9 inches wide. It has a nice original green verdigris patina that he was noted for that is in excellent condition. It is stamped France and Bronze after being cast.
