The sign measures 20 1/4 long by 6 tall. This sign weighs 4 lbs 6oz. The top left corner has a 1/2 piece missing but there are four other mounting holes.
Due to research and speaking with elderly pilots out of Watsonville CA, they say that this type of plane was flown into San Francisco Sea Port airport in the 1930s. They believe this sign was mounted in the terminal directing the public to the restroom area. Do your own research , but I have never seen or found another like this one.I have owned this sign for over 25 years and hate to part with it but I need to downsize. This extremely rare sign would make a great addition to any collection. Please see pictures for condition and Thanks for looking.
